Joe Tobin

He was amazing! So happy he came to our section. I really really really like this guy. It was also useful… some people are having trouble seeing children as intellectual individuals who have power, and Joe is the kind of guy who just proves that it’s there. I thought it was incredible.

The bit on the Cheerio’s commercial was one of the best parts. I, like everyone else, analyzed it superficially, but to find out children could see deeper meaning beyond what my brain’s bias was stopping me from? It just goes to show that socialization does a lot… whether that’s good or bad is impossible to say.

Chris recommended I read his book, “Good Guys Don’t Wear Hats”. I wish it was on Kindle, but I definitely want to read that. It probably won’t happen within the semester so don’t hold your breath, readers…
